The way you approach color in your clothing says a lot about you. Do you like to stand out from the crowd in jewel tones and brights? Or maybe chic neutrals can help you portray an understated yet sophisticated aesthetic. Luckily, this spring you can do both! On the runways, designers declared that monochromatic dressing, alongside mixing trending brights and neutrals, was the way to wear color that feels current. This season's color trends have a hint of optimism that's much needed right now, from calming ocean blues to golden hues that hint at hope at the end of the rainbow. Do you need guidance on which shades suit your House of Colour season? Fear not; we've included color-match tips below. If there's one thing about us, we know color, and this spring, we know you'll find a shade you love!

Tangerine Dream

Spring and summer are the ideal times to break out citrus tones; this year, tangerine is the fruity shade of choice. Zesty orange looks were seen on the runways at Fendi, Alberta Ferretti and Loewe, while models carried leather bags in satsuma shades at Versace. Wear this energetic color head-to-toe in flowing dresses or matching coordinates, as seen at Bottega Veneta. Or add citrus orange accessories to a neutral palette of cream, brown or grey for a bright color pop.

Seasonal Color Match: Springs look great in true Tangerine, while Autumns can choose between Amber, Saffron and orange.

Golden Path

Forget the Yellow Brick Road—we're following the Golden Path this season. We saw this optimistic color on the runways at J.W. Anderson, 16Arlington and more, with designers choosing to inject some joy into their spring looks. Silks and duchess satins look especially great in this light-reflecting hue. Let golden pieces be the standout in your look with statement knitwear, a bright trench, or draped evening wear.

Seasonal Color Match: If you're a Spring, true Corn Yellow and Canary shades will work, while Autumns can go for Yellow Ochre and Mustard tones.

Butter Base

If chocolate brown was the 'it' color for autumn/winter, the shade to be seen this spring is most definitely butter yellow. Since Timothee Chalamet stepped onto the Oscars red carpet wearing a buttery monochromatic suit by Givenchy, we've seen the spread of this head-to-toe trend everywhere. Tailored blazers and trousers give a refreshing twist on suiting, while satin bias-cut skirts and dresses channel Andie Anderson's iconic pale yellow dress in "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days." Who knew the Lurpak Man was this season's biggest style icon?!

Seasonal Color Match: Springs should aim for Banana shades, while Summers can opt for Primrose Yellow.

Tranquil Blues

Think open skies, crystal clear oceans … and maybe the cerulean monologue from "The Devil Wears Prada." This season's blues are bold yet calming. Miu Miu showed pleated leather skirts and prim cardigans in shades of turquoise and teal, again pairing them with neutrals like chocolate brown and charcoal grey for an unexpected result.

Seasonal Color Match: If you're a Summer, you have lots of blues to choose from: Sky, Powder, Duck Egg and Pastel Aqua will all complement your coloring, while Winters look great in vivid hues like Turquoise and Lagoon Blue.

Summer Wines

If you're mourning the loss of rich, burgundy shades as we say goodbye to winter, don't be so hasty to pack away these pieces! Summer wine may be this spring's most unusual color trend, as the shade is usually associated with winter styling. However, deep reds were seen on the spring/summer 2025 runways of Bottega Veneta, Gucci and Chloé in the form of head-to-toe looks and burgundy leather outerwear and accessories.

Seasonal Color Match: Wine tones like Plum and Cherry will suit you if you're a Summer, while Winters should opt for deep shades of Carmine and Damson.

All The Pinks

Baby, bubblegum, ballet slipper and any other shades you can think of — you can't go wrong with pink this season. Take inspiration from dance studio pieces like leggings, bodysuits and fluffy bolero cardigans and mix these ballet-core pieces into your daily looks as seen at Ferragamo. Elsewhere, Chloé, Emilia Wickstead and Sandy Liang all showed monochromatic pink looks. Extra points for mixing your pinks with red — it's one of the coolest color combos of the moment.

Seasonal Color Match: Springs and Summers will suit pale pinks like Rose and Shell tones, while Winters can opt for bolder hues like Cerise and Raspberry.

Mint Condition

After butter yellow and powdery pink, mint green completes the pastel trifecta for spring. Erdem, Fendi and Chanel used the ice cream shade on the runway in opulent fabrics like embellished silk, chiffon and lace. Pair your mint pieces with chocolate brown for the full mint-chocolate-chip experience; silver metallic accessories will complement your sweet look perfectly.

Seasonal Color Match: Springs can choose the classic Mint Green, Autumns should choose Apple Jade, and Winters look cool in Ice Green.
