I am a follower of Jesus, a wife to Mark, and mom to 3 boys: Hamilton, Luke, and Garrett. I am a breast cancer survivor, native Texan, rule follower, and ice cream lover. If you are looking for me you will find me at church on Sundays, at my kids school during the week, the baseball field or golf course cheering on my boys on the weekends, or most recently traveling to Virginia Tech to see my Army ROTC freshman cadet.
My experience with House of Colour started 2 years ago when I booked a couples' analysis for a fun date day. I had never felt more confident in my own skin than when I left the appointment. I came home with a bag full of make-up that I loved and a "fan deck" of my Autumn palet of fabric colors. I immediately started working on overhauling my closet (and my hair color). I was fearful that this process would be restrictive, but instead it brought me freedom for the first time by knowing my right YES when it came to clothes.
It was obvious I wanted to take this new found freedom to the next level. Six months later my stylist helped me understand my personal style, body shape, and my previous color analysis to enhance my overall appearance and boost my confidence. Once again, I came home and started to weed out more of my closet to decide not only my best colors, but now the style that best fits my personality!
I then became that girl who wouldn't stop talking about House of Colour. I gave an analysis as a Christmas gift to my mom, sister, and mom-in-love. The following Christmas I took my 3 "besties" for a fun girls' day out with my color analyist.
Needless to say, I jumped when the opportunity arose for me to join the amazing team that taught me so much about my season of colors. I am humbled and honored to become an associate with House of Colour North Forsyth. I have taken great care and detail to make my studio a comfortable and inviting space. I can't wait to welcome you into "Your Next Best YES", where you will gain the freedom of color, style, and your wardrobe like never before!

Get dressed every day with purpose, ease, and JOY! A color analysis provides you with life-changing information. Using precision-dyed drapes and my extensive training I will prove to you the value of knowing your season; a palette of colors customized to your unique undertones. We apply this information to women, men, and children of all races, ethnicities, and genders. Your season will never change so this is information you can carry with you for a lifetime.
There are three parts to every color session. First is our world-class, scientific draping process that we have refined for excellence and accuracy over the past four decades. Next, I will provide advice on jewellery, watches, glasses, and when applicable: hair and makeup based on your season. Our makeup products will take the guesswork out of choosing colors that highlight your natural beauty. Finally, we'll dive further into your season and choose the best colors for your casual and professional life, discovering your list of WOW colors.
You will leave your appointment with a fan of your seasonal swatches and a brochure full of tips and reminders specific to you that you can reference later to make shopping and wearing your new colors a confident experience!
You should arrive at your analysis free of spray tans and makeup for optimal accuracy. No pictures will be taken without permission, nor are they shared on social media without your consent.
