For years, my sister and I would go back and forth trying to figure out our seasons. We were interested in color seasons to help build a capsule wardrobe. We were so excited for our color analysis with Carolyn! She was so personable and easy to connect with. She welcomed us into her office and began explaining the history behind color analysis. My daughter and I came to see Carolyn to get our color analysis. It was AMAZING! Carolyn was sweet and very knowledgeable. It was so eye opening as she moved between the different colors to see how they changed our skin, eyes, and areas under our eyes. I got my colors done and a whole new world was opened to me (after YEARS of wearing nothing but black and grey). But there was still a piece missing. Getting my style done by Carolyn helped me understand why textured, more natural-leaning clothes looked bulky and frumpy on me, no matter how much money I spent on them! (The most expensive cashmere duster won’t do jack all for a romantic classic who needs structured lines and a defined waist!) I’ve gradually started to fill my wardrobe with more rounded, tailored, romantic classic pieces and I regularly get stopped and told how put-together I look!! Whether I’m dressing down for my manual/messy job as a florist (in joggers, sneakers, and a fitted t shirt) or dressing up to attend a friend’s wedding (in full a blown 1950s-inspired dress and heels) I feel 100% aligned in who I am and who I’m presenting to the world. Super extra bonus points for Carolyn’s focus on jewelry scale, makeup, and hairstyle. I’ve just slightly shifted the jewelry I buy, the lipsticks I wear, and the way I get my hair cut and and I can’t believe how much more like myself I feel! Really love this service and will continue to gush to everyone I know about the importance of getting your colors AND style done!
