Whether it's fair or not, first impressions are often formed quickly, typically within the first few moments of meeting someone new. While first impressions are often influenced by a variety of factors, one of the most significant aspects is how we present ourselves through clothing. The colors and styles we choose to wear can speak volumes about our personality, mood, and even values. Dressing in a way that reflects your unique identity not only helps you feel more confident, but it also ensures that your outward appearance aligns with your true self. By embracing clothing and colors that harmonize with your physical appearance and resonate with who you are, you can create a more authentic and lasting impression, leaving others with a sense of your individuality and style.

Along with my fellow consultant, Kate Webb, I offer 5 services, or steps, I know will set you up for success.
Step 1: Color Analysis (aka Your Season)
During your Color Analysis, we find the range of colors that are most harmonious with you, so you know what color clothes, makeup, jewelry, eyewear, and hair color work FOR you. I am thrilled to bring the reknowned House of Colour® system of color analysis to the north Alabama area, because only in person, in natural light, can you find your true season. Color Analysis simplifies shopping forever because you'll leave my studio with a color fan representing the hundreds of thousands of colors that fit into your season.

Step 2: Style Analysis
Just as everyone falls into a Color Season, everyone has a unique Clothing Personality that fits their body geometric and personal characteristics. House of Colour® Style Analysis will help you take a fresh look at what garments, jewelry, shoes, boots, coats, etc... you enjoy wearing. What works? What doesn't? Why? What garments will help you look more proportional? What necklines are the most flattering? What hemlines should you avoid? Why do you buy things but never wear them?
Armed with the robust amount of knowledge you will leave this appointment with, you can curate a wardrobe of clothing, jewelry and accessories that you feel good investing in, that coordinate easily, that make shopping and getting dressed a breeze, and that give you a closet full of options that flatter and work for you. Truly an appointment every man and woman will appreciate!

The Gift That Lasts a Lifetime
We all like to come to the party with the best gift, right?! Color Analysis and Style Analysis appointments make extraordinarily thoughtful gifts your loved ones will take with them for the rest of their lives. Our flexible options allow you to schedule an appointment for them or allow them to schedule later. Makeup and Closet Edit gift cards are also available. I can deliver or ship gift cards for you to wrap up, or, if it's a last minute situation, I can email you a little something to print and wrap at home. Call, email or text and I'll make sure you have the gift that fits anyone perfectly!
Step 3: Wardrobe Edit
Tailored for clients who have completed their House of Colour® Color Analysis and/or Style Analysis appointments and would like help putting the information into practice. I will evaluate your garments, shoes, jewelry, and any other accessories you wish, collect the items that do not align with your personal brand, and leave you with only the items that fit your lifestyle, color season, and clothing personality. Whether you goal is to curate a capsule wardrobe or you're just ready to freshen up your closet, this appointment will give you a great head start.
Wardrobe Edit can be added to a Style Analysis appointment, both of which can be completed in your home. This appointment can be conducted as a learning exercise in which I walk you through putting your color fan and clothing personality to use; or, I can sort your items independently for you.
$170.00/hr / 2 hr minimum
NOTE: This is not a closet makeover and does not include the implementation of any organizing systems, shelving, boxing, hangers, or setup. This appointment is strictly about evaluating the items you currently own and making sure they fit your color and style profiles. We recommend this appointment after both Color AND Style appointments have been completed; however, this appointment may be provided after one or the other. Discarded items can be left for you to sell/donate, or I can remove them for you and dispose of at my discretion.
Step 4: Advanced Color Analysis
Dive deeper into your season's makeup, Points of Red, and color combination ideas for clothing and outfits. The purpose of Advanced Color is to give you more insight into your seasonal palette and inspire you to try color combinations you might not have considered after your initial Color Analysis appointment. It is a great refresher on your hues, and it expands your knowledge of how the colors of your season can be put together harmoniously. Advanced Color must be done a minimum of 3 months after your original Color Analysis so you have time to live in your season for a little while before going deeper.

Step 5: Beyond 90-Second Makeup
House of Colour® offers a full line of cosmetics we simply do not have time to explore during Color Analysis and Advanced Color appointments. In a Beyond 90-Second Makeup session, you get to try on more shades/types of lip products, eye shadows, eyeliners, liquid foundations, illuminators, etc... as well as practice application techniques.

Quicker than a Full Makeup Session, this appointment gets you 30 minutes of private shopping in the studio. Try on a new lip color for spring, match a foundation to your new summer tan, or try out a new product you've been thinking about. Trying to find the perfect lip for a special occasion? Bring your dress, grab a cup of coffee and we'll figure out the perfect lip color together!

Personal Shopping
In person shopping or design boards for you with shoppable links. Must have had color and style analysis already completed. 2 hour minimum at $85 per hour. Design boards will be for 50 items in your season style.

WOW Color Re-Rating
Although your season never changes, sometimes your WOW colors change or subseason shifts. House of Colour® recommends our Color Analysis clients return to the studio for a Color Re-Rating if you have made significant changes to your outward appearance (such as a drastic hair color change) to see if any of your best colors need to be adjusted.

The House of Colour Athens, AL studio is easy to find in historic, downtown Athens, in a 2-story brick building on the corner of Madison and Market Streets.
I share the House of Colour Athens, AL studio with fellow image consultant Kate Webb. We strive to make your time with us invigorating and pleasant, with a fully stocked coffee/tea bar, water and snacks. We have extra seating if you'd like to bring a friend even if he/she is not scheduled for an appointment; however, we do ask that you keep yourself the priority and avoid bringing small children who may need your attention. If you're coming from out of town, we hope you'll make a day of it and visit the nearby boutiques, antique stores, and restaurants downtown Athens has to offer.

Color Analysis
Get dressed every day with purpose, ease, and JOY! A color analysis provides you with life-changing information. Using precision-dyed drapes and my extensive training I will prove to you the value of knowing your season; a palette of colors customized to your unique undertones. We apply this information to women, men, and children of all races, ethnicities, and genders. Your season will never change so this is information you can carry with you for a lifetime.
There are three parts to every color session. First is our world-class, scientific draping process that we have refined for excellence and accuracy over the past four decades. Next, I will provide advice on jewellery, watches, glasses, and when applicable: hair and makeup based on your season. Our makeup products will take the guesswork out of choosing colors that highlight your natural beauty. Finally, we'll dive further into your season and choose the best colors for your casual and professional life, discovering your list of WOW colors.
You will leave your appointment with a fan of your seasonal swatches and a brochure full of tips and reminders specific to you that you can reference later to make shopping and wearing your new colors a confident experience!
You should arrive at your analysis free of spray tans and makeup for optimal accuracy. No pictures will be taken without permission, nor are they shared on social media without your consent.

Discover the science behind personal style by unlocking the power of you. During a style analysis, I'll teach you how to combine who you are with how you dress so you can step out into the world looking fabulous as your authentic self. We consider your proportions, personality, and preferences to give you a style framework- we call this a “Clothing Personality. You will confidently know which fabrics, prints, patterns, and accessories, necklines, details, and silhouettes flatter your unique body architecture best. Because we factor your personality into this framework, our style analysis goes a step further to help you identify how you feel in different styles and pieces so your clothing not only looks great but also represents who you are.
For this appointment, you’ll bring 5–10 items from your closet that you LOVE and 5–10 that make you wonder why you don’t feel good when putting them on. We'll use this information to help you discover why you gravitated toward and loved certain pieces and what it is about the others that weren't working for you, so you save time and money in the future! At House of Colour, we believe clothing needs to be adjusted to you, not the other way around. It is our goal to make sure you feel your most confident as who you are and how you look right now.
You’ll leave with a book with detailed information specific to you that we'll fill out during the appointment and a Clothing Personality card with keywords that will help guide you when shopping. If you've already had a color analysis, this card can be inserted into your fan which will make shopping easy and efficient!
Group discounts available. Combination Syle Analysis and Wardrobe Edit appointments in your home are available on the booking page.
Advanced Color Analysis is an opportunity revisit your season, refresh your seasonal color knowledge and build upon the foundation of your personal color analysis. It’s something you may want to explore at least three to six months after your initial House of Colour color analysis (I am happy to discuss ideal timing with you).
During this appointment, we'll dive deeper into the specifics of your season and show you color combos, and more makeup options, and provide guidance specific to you.
You will leave your appointment with an Advanced Color guide in your season where we will log all color and make up combinations (we rate them too!) for future reference. You may pair this guide with your fan and color brochure you received at your first color analysis to further customize your look.
Sessions take approximately two to three hours and we will review 40+ color combinations in your season.
This appointment is designed to take the knowledge you gained in your color and/or style appointment and apply it to your own specific wardrobe. I will help you filter through the pieces you don't wear so you can donate them and provide joy to someone else and keep your own closet free from clutter so you can better mix and match pieces in your wardrobe to create more looks with fewer items.
This appointment is called a Wardrobe Edit on the Booking Page. This service may be booked after Color Analysis or Style Analysis; however, booking this after having both Color AND Style will be the most efficient use of this appointment.
