Before color and style I was all over the place, trying to copy trends or influencer recommendations that I thought were fun but when I brought them home, didn’t quite suit me and I didn't know why. Shopping and therefore my closet was ALL over the place! First, I did the color session, and it helped my zone in on colors that are just right for me, cutting out all the extra "noise" that doesn't work for me, making shopping easier. BUT, sometimes the style isn't exactly right. For example, I have a satin button down shirt in a gorgeous chestnut brown but every time I put it on, it just didn’t feel right. So even though it's one of my wow colors, it doesn't necessarily suit my style! So the style session helped me refine shopping and dressing EVEN more! It also gave me permission to acknowledge WHY things don't work - hemlines, textures, patterns, proportions, etc. It's like a whole new language! And don't get me started on denim! Now I have an eye for things that work and can move towards replacing things in my closet with things that truly feel good and suit me! It is a total game changer! I don't think I've gone a week without a compliment of some kind - it is such a confidence boost! Once you do it, you will see color (and style) in a whole new way!

My House of Colour experience with Christina was truly so much more than a color analysis—it felt like an investment in myself during a season of life when I really needed it. As a mom to a young child with another on the way, and with all of the natural changes and fluctuations that come with your body during pregnancy, I was craving something that would help me feel confident and like me again. I may not always feel in control of how my body is changing, but I wanted to know that the colors I’m wearing truly complement me and help me feel my best. And when I feel confident in my own skin, I know that carries into how I show up for my family and the people around me.

My sister and I both went into the experience with our own ideas of what seasons we thought we were, so it was such a fun experience to go through the draping process together and really narrow down what our true seasons were. It challenged some of our assumptions in the best way and made the whole experience even more special sharing it together. Christina made us feel so comfortable throughout the entire process, and her passion and expertise were evident from start to finish.  

Over the last couple of weeks, knowing my colors has made such a difference in my confidence, but it’s also given me permission to truly have fun with color. In a season where so much can feel like it’s changing, there’s something really empowering about knowing what works for you and being able to lean into it—whether that’s adding a pop of highlighter yellow to an outfit because I know it works for me, or wearing a bold pink or red lip. Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve loved playing with makeup, and now knowing my colors has given me even more confidence to lean into those bold shades, have fun with them, and wear them without second-guessing myself.  

One thing that really impressed me was how much support and how many resources you’re given after your appointment. It’s definitely a lot of exciting information to take in during your session, but Christina and House of Colour make it feel so approachable to actually implement. I loved receiving my color booklet as a quick everyday reference, and I’m excited to take advantage of the various resources, especially the subscription service that helps you find pieces in your season from different retailers—something I know I’ll especially enjoy once I’m through postpartum. I also love how easy it is to shop makeup specifically curated for your season. It didn’t feel like the appointment just ended and you were on your own—it truly felt like I was given the tools and confidence to make this a lifestyle change.

One of the biggest shifts from my color analysis appointment was discovering that, as a Spring, brown mascara enhances my features more than the black mascara I’ve worn my entire life. That small change alone completely transformed how I see color on myself. It made me realize how powerful the right colors can be in enhancing your features instead of overpowering them.

Color Analysis was an absolute highlight of our girls’ weekend experience. We were able to learn, compare notes, and celebrate each other’s discoveries together. From the moment I walked into Christina’s studio, I felt an instant connection. She was warm, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable, which made the entire experience feel both exciting and comfortable. What I didn’t expect was how fun and playful the process would be. My biggest AHA moment was discovering that bright red is actually one of my best colors. I’ve always had pinkish undertones and assumed red would never work for me, so seeing how vibrant and flattering it looked was truly shocking in the best way. If you’re considering color analysis, do it. It’s one of those experiences that changes the way you see yourself (and your closet) forever.

10/10 100 percent recommend!  I have been wanting to know my colors and wanting to clean out my closet and only have a closet focused on what looks best on me! It was fun and crazy to see how some colors can just wash you out and make you look awful and how some colors make you pop! I kind of thought I may be a winter - but I was told online I was an autumn.  One fun thing i didn’t realize was there are even shades of winter colors that look better than other shades in that season. I used to wear a lot more browns/camels and I’ll be focusing more on blacks, navy, true whites and reds. I also loved the winter eyeshadows and the blush! It was a fun day.

We brought our 14yr old daughter to Christina as a birthday gift and at first had to convince my husband on it but 30 min in he was raving about how great it was for her. She lit up through the process, and was surprised she was a different season than she thought she would be and jewelry as well but she sees it completely now and is already beaming with more confidence since we left. We ca see this should almost be a given for all young teens who can use this through everything in her future and help her feel confident in her choices and presenting herself! Our experience with doing the House of Color color analysis with Christina was so great. I went with my Mom and we had tons of fun learning we are both winters, albeit different types of winters. It explains a lot about the clothes we feel best in and gives me renewed confidence in future clothing purchases or choices. I have tried to use other tools to analyze my best colors, but having an in-person consultation really helped me to see the differences of colors with my complexion. I’ve been drawn towards warmer colors and neutrals, but always thought pastels washed me out.
