A Truly Eye-Opening Experience!

Working with Emily Lyddy at House of Colour was nothing short of transformative. From the moment I walked in, Emily's professionalism and expertise set the tone for a fantastic experience. I was so sure I’d be labeled a Summer palette—but Emily’s trained eye proved otherwise. I’m a Spring! Bright, clear, light, and warm colors are now my go-to, and I couldn’t be happier. Emily even went the extra mile to pinpoint my “wow” colors—many of which were already favorites—making the whole experience feel personal and affirming.

For all of those who know me, they know that I am not one to wear much color. My main reason for that is because of my red hair. I never thought the brighter colors would “go” with my hair color. A few weeks ago I got my color analysis at House of Color Newtown. I have been given a whole new perspective on what colors look good on me. It was decided that I am a Paintbox Spring! Again, never in a million years would I choose colors from my new color pallet. Since that day, I have been wearing bright colors, including bright pink, and have received many compliments. House of Color Newtown has changed my view of colors and what looks good on me drastically. I highly recommend getting your colors done. You may be surprised what you see! 

I am having so much fun with this! I have always been an insecure shopper and now I feel so confident and excited to buy clothes for myself!

I just want to let you know (again) how much I love knowing my colors. I always thought I had bad style and could never figure out why cute clothes looked so “off” on me. but it turns out it was 100% just the wrong colors. I have loved every outfit I’ve worn since my color analysis - even shorts and a tee shirt are 100000x cuter.

Such helpful experience and well worth the money. I cleared my closet of the colors that have not been “right” and suddenly I was able to see the clothes I had and use them.

Now I get compliments at work about what I’m wearing.
