I went to Erin at House of Colour expecting a gentle nudge towards a few better shades. Black is NOT my best color?!?! I was initially in disbelief however, I'm getting compliments left and right. My husband and I booked the couples color analysis a month before our actual appointment. Information prior to the appointment was emailed and concise and it was extremely easy to book and reschedule if needed with HoC Kailua’s website. It was easy to pay with CC!

From the moment we parked, we felt completely welcomed and taken care of. Erin’s studio space is clean, stylish (matches her seasonal colors), calming, and smells phenomenal — a true reflection of care and creativity! It was a beautiful drive and easy to find with no hassle to park.

Erin took the time to really listen to what we already knew, what we wanted to learn more about, and answered all of our questions with no judgement! As we progressed through our appointment, you can really tell Erin is passionate about what she does and genuinely cares about helping her clients look and feel their best! She even showed me a 90-second daily make up routine using HoC make up! She let’s you apply your own make up, which I love because it makes you feel empowered and ready to do it by yourself at home and really shows how easy it is to apply. She also will give you 10% off if you buy any make up at the time of the appointment, sends you home with a ton of information on your season and provides your personal color swatches and HoC book with all the information/colors you talked about during the appointment. You’ll also get information on which make up colors matches your season… you like red lipstick? Well, she’ll help guide you to find the right SHADE of red that matches you ????

It was also so fun to watch my husband get his color analysis done. He loves fashion and bold colors, so it was fun trying to find his season and see which colors really make him stand out. Definitely a fun date and a future investment in your marriage because it makes shopping together 10x easier and less expensive with our personal color swatches! We take them everywhere anytime we go shopping ????

My daughter and I had the most incredible experience at HOC with Erin! We were hoping to find out what colors work for us and have a fun bonding experience, but it ended up being so much more than that! Color analysis is a must do for all. No longer do I purchase clothes or makeup in the wrong colors. It’s easy to spark joy in the colors that work and ditch/donate the colors that don’t. The makeup is luxurious and the autumn shades are perfect for me. PS - try the tinted SPF moisturizer - it’s great under the BB cream but also perfect all by itself when all you want to wear is a little mascara and lipgloss. Thanks Erin!
