Let me help paint a picture of the process!
Step 1: Meet and Greet + Color Education - When you arrive with a fresh, make-up free face, you’ll be welcomed into our light and bright studio (we only use natural light!). We’ll start with a rundown on all things House of Colour and our incredible science-based process! Then we’ll chat about where you’re at in life and what you’re hoping to get out of your appointment. Whether you’re a lawyer, doctor, teacher, student, marketing pro, stay-at-home mama, or anything in between, color analysis is for everyone!
Step 2: The Color Analysis Draping Process - Let the fun begin! Next, we’ll go through a series of comparisons using our precision-dyed drapes to discover which season perfectly complements YOUR unique coloring—skin, hair, and eyes! This is where you’ll find out your seasonal palette.
Step 3: Make-up in YOUR Best Shades - Hello, easy button! You’ve just learned your season, and now (should you choose), we get to dive into an amazing 90-second makeup routine using shades that are perfectly matched to YOU. Our makeup line takes the guesswork out of getting ready by formulating shades specifically for each season. This is also where you’ll learn about your three points of red!
Step 4: The Ratings Process (WOW Colors) - The cherry on top—the color ratings process! We’ll go through each drape in your season, one by one, to see which colors make you really WOW. We’ll also find your “better than black,” best red, best white, and more!
You’ll realize your beauty has been there all along!

Style Analysis - Permission to show up authentically YOU
Learning your best colors is only the beginning (though not a prerequisite). Style gives you permission to be authentically you!
During our time together, you will learn how to bypass fast-fashion trends that don't work for you, and how to adopt those that do. Using body architecture, proportions and balance, personaility, and lifestyle, you will learn how to dress in a way that is uniquely you. At the end of the style appointment you will have a detailed understanding (and of course take-home resources) of the styles and shapes of clothing that work best for you and why – fully equipped with the knowledge you need to start building a wardrobe that works for your lifestyle and budget.
Our session will delve into:
- Proportions: Understanding how to dress for your body shape to accentuate your best features - just as you are in this exact moment!
- Personality: How do you want to be perceived? Exploring your personal preferences, lifestyle, and fashion preferences, we will define style that feels authentically you.
- Lifestyle: We are all different! Our process takes into account your daily activities, work environment, and social engagements to ensure your wardrobe suits your lifestyle needs.

Take the frustration out of getting dressed!
Get dressed every day with purpose, ease, and JOY! A color analysis provides you with life-changing information. Using precision-dyed drapes and my extensive training I will prove to you the value of knowing your season; a palette of colors customized to your unique undertones. We apply this information to women, men, and children of all races, ethnicities, and genders. Your season will never change so this is information you can carry with you for a lifetime.
There are three parts to every color session. First is our world-class, scientific draping process that we have refined for excellence and accuracy over the past four decades. Next, I will provide advice on jewellery, watches, glasses, and when applicable: hair and makeup based on your season. Our makeup products will take the guesswork out of choosing colors that highlight your natural beauty. Finally, we'll dive further into your season and choose the best colors for your casual and professional life, discovering your list of WOW colors.
You will leave your appointment with a fan of your seasonal swatches and a brochure full of tips and reminders specific to you that you can reference later to make shopping and wearing your new colors a confident experience!
You should arrive at your analysis free of spray tans and makeup for optimal accuracy. No pictures will be taken without permission, nor are they shared on social media without your consent.
Discover the science behind personal style by unlocking the power of you. During a style analysis, I'll teach you how to combine who you are with how you dress so you can step out into the world looking fabulous as your authentic self. We consider your proportions, personality, and preferences to give you a style framework- we call this a “Clothing Personality. You will confidently know which fabrics, prints, patterns, and accessories, necklines, details, and silhouettes flatter your unique body architecture best. Because we factor your personality into this framework, our style analysis goes a step further to help you identify how you feel in different styles and pieces so your clothing not only looks great but also represents who you are.
For this appointment, you’ll bring 5–10 items from your closet that you LOVE and 5–10 that make you wonder why you don’t feel good when putting them on. We'll use this information to help you discover why you gravitated toward and loved certain pieces and what it is about the others that weren't working for you, so you save time and money in the future! At House of Colour, we believe clothing needs to be adjusted to you, not the other way around. It is our goal to make sure you feel your most confident as who you are and how you look right now.
You’ll leave with a book with detailed information specific to you that we'll fill out during the appointment and a Clothing Personality card with keywords that will help guide you when shopping. If you've already had a color analysis, this card can be inserted into your fan which will make shopping easy and efficient!
This appointment is designed to take the knowledge you gained in your color and/or style appointment and apply it to your own specific wardrobe. I will help you filter through the pieces you don't wear so you can donate them and provide joy to someone else and keep your own closet free from clutter so you can better mix and match pieces in your wardrobe to create more looks with fewer items.
