Q: How did you get into a career in Color & Style Analysis?
A: I’ve been in the Image Consulting industry for nearly a decade, with a brief hiatus during my first pregnancy (twins!). My babies were born early, requiring my full attention and care. During this vulnerable time, I felt my own style – and my sense of identity – slipping away as my wardrobe became all about function. I tried to keep up with fashion world by wearing the trending colors, but they were making me feel even worse! I knew I needed a shock to the system, so I scheduled my own Color Analysis, and it completely transformed my life. I realized that my lackluster look wasn’t due to motherhood, as I subconsciously believed – rather, it could all be blamed on the wrong colors! This revelation was not only life-giving but deeply empowering, and I knew that when I returned to styling, I had to incorporate the HOC "Gold Standard" of Color Analysis. It quickly became my favorite part of my career, and I feel so lucky to have been able to share this transformative experience with hundreds of my clients.
Q: Will I feel limited by my color palette?
A: No! It may sound contradictory, but there is great freedom to be found within parameters. When you know which colors honor you best, you get to go ALL IN with them. Once everything in your closet is in your season, your entire wardrobe will be mix-and-matchable. Getting dressed will become an enjoyable experience. There are no rules after Color Analysis - only tools! You are free to play outside of your color palette whenever you wish, but I guarantee once you see the difference YOUR colors can make, you won't even want to mess around with the rest.
Q: Will my color season ever change?
A: Never! You are born with your color season and it stays with you for life! Color Analysis is a one-time investment, and you'll use the knowledge gained every day thereafter, in many different ways. It will guide your decisions on makeup, hair color, accessories, denim, photo and branding color schemes, and so much more!
