I 1,000% recommend finding out your colors with Molly! She was fantastic to work with and it was like chatting with a friend you've known for years during the process. She is fantastic! I heard about House of Color from a facebook group and then googled for local people and found Molly. I feel like it is such a great investment in yourself to find out what colors work best for you. It is SO much easier to pick clothes now with this new knowledge. I had a closet full of clothes that I hardly ever wore and couldn't really pin point why I didn't wear some things and wore others. Now that I know what looks best on me, it is SO much easier to pick what to wear and give away the clothes that I wasn't reaching for. It's the gift that keeps giving-- to yourself. Five stars and wish there were more to give! This color consult was given to me as a gift from my girls and it's one of the most useful presents I've ever received. I wish I'd had this information years(decades)ago. It would have saved me a lot of money and closet space. Those clothes(hot fuschia & red) that I love on the hanger that never look quite right when I wear them so I'd put on more blush, eye makeup? Not the best colors for me. Who knew I was a Soft Autumn, except Molly?! She was a delight to work with, made the session very comfortable, and definitely understands color theory and how to make it work. I had a very positive experience with my color consultation with Molly! In addition to being very informative it was also very fun. I felt that Molly was very thorough and honest and I did not feel at all rushed during the appointment… she gave me quality time and I walked away with information and products that I will use at home. The only thing that I would like to have done differently is brow make-up as part of the make-up routine at the end of the appointment. Since I went to the appointment bare faced and brow make up is one of my essentials, I did not feel “ finished” without it after the rest of my make up was on and therefore did not agree to have photos posted. I would have been fine just being instructed to bring my brow make up with. Going through a color consultation with Molly was a fantastic experience! I decided to do this since I was moving into a new job and wanted to feel confident in the image that I was presenting. Molly helped me to find my best colors and how to wear them to best effect. I used to wear a lot of black to work but now I see how black was really washing me out. I have colors that are better than black, like dark browns and warm navy, which are much more complementary to my skin tone.
