Color and Style Analysis for Rockport, Texas, and the surrounding Coastal Bend Area
Hi! I'm Traca!
No matter in what stage of life we find ourselves, we want to look and feel our best. We have been uniquely and beautifully made, but we are often bombarded by colors and trends and styles that don't seem quite right. It's hard to keep up with the ever-changing ideas of what the world says is beautiful.
Let me help you learn your best colors according to your season and to become confident in the knowledge of what will ALWAYS work for you!
Your Color Analysis Appointment
All about House of Colour + You! Let's get to know each other! We will talk about your needs in your specific stage of life and how knowing your season and best colors can help you to feel more beautiful and confident. We will also learn about the history of HoC, the color wheel, and the science behind color analysis. It's truly fascinating!
Determining Your Season! Next will use natural lighting and the precision dyed drapes to determine if your undertone is warm or cool, and then hone in on your specific season and subseasons. Remember: your season will never change! You will be equipped for the rest of your life to find that perfect prom dress, power color for job interviews, or best color for a stunning date night outfit!
Make Up + Three Points of Red! Are you a mineral foundation girl? Or just some Tinted Sunscreen + BB Cream? Do you want color correction/concealer and more coverage? And what about those lips: Gloss? Buttery smooth lipstick? Long-wearing color? We've got you covered and will teach you about YOUR three points of red! This is your chance to see what the correct shade of makeup can do to bring out your inner beauty!
Time to "WOW"! Now that we know your seaon and your three points of red, we will try on all 36 of the colors in your color fan (yes, you get one of those, too!) and determine the colors that really make you shine! We call them your "wow" colors and seeing really is believing!
What's Next? Real Life!
We will talk about how to use your color fan, shopping your season, colors in the real world, prints, denim, metals, shoes, jewelry, and how to put it all together. It's also time to tackle your closet: What do you currently own that is in your season? What are your priorities? What is your "better than black"? We want you to understand how to apply your new-found color knowledge in a practical way that fits your lifestyle.
Now it's your turn to live life in full color (or your best neutrals!) and start planning to come back and see me for a style analysis so you will have a complete set of tools to dress your best each day!

Color Analysis

Get dressed every day with purpose, ease, and JOY! A color analysis provides you with life-changing information. Using precision-dyed drapes and my extensive training I will prove to you the value of knowing your season; a palette of colors customized to your unique undertones. We apply this information to women, men, and children of all races, ethnicities, and genders. Your season will never change so this is information you can carry with you for a lifetime.
There are three parts to every color session. First is our world-class, scientific draping process that we have refined for excellence and accuracy over the past four decades. Next, I will provide advice on jewellery, watches, glasses, and when applicable: hair and makeup based on your season. Our makeup products will take the guesswork out of choosing colors that highlight your natural beauty. Finally, we'll dive further into your season and choose the best colors for your casual and professional life, discovering your list of WOW colors.
You will leave your appointment with a fan of your seasonal swatches and a brochure full of tips and reminders specific to you that you can reference later to make shopping and wearing your new colors a confident experience!
You should arrive at your analysis free of spray tans and makeup for optimal accuracy. No pictures will be taken without permission, nor are they shared on social media without your consent.

Advanced Color Analysis

Advanced Color Analysis is an opportunity revisit your season, refresh your seasonal color knowledge and build upon the foundation of your personal color analysis. It’s something you may want to explore at least three to six months after your initial House of Colour color analysis (I am happy to discuss ideal timing with you).
During this appointment, we'll dive deeper into the specifics of your season and show you color combos, and more makeup options, and provide guidance specific to you.
You will leave your appointment with an Advanced Color guide in your season where we will log all color and make up combinations (we rate them too!) for future reference. You may pair this guide with your fan and color brochure you received at your first color analysis to further customize your look.
Sessions take approximately two to three hours and we will review 40+ color combinations in your season.
