Meet Amy Budler
My name is Amy Budler, and I was born and raised in Lincoln, Nebraska. My husband, Steve, and I have been married for 11 years, and together we have three wonderful children—Harper, Ander, and Leo.
I spent 11 years as an ELL teacher with LPS before deciding to step away from the classroom to become a stay-at-home mom. I wanted more time to be present with my family and focus on this special season of life.
In 2022, I decided to have my colors done. At first, I wanted to support my friend Jordan, but as a new stay-at-home mom I was also feeling a bit dull in my usual white, black, and gray outfits. I was looking for something that would help me feel confident and like the best version of myself—even in the everyday moments of motherhood. Discovering my best colors gave me the tools to feel put together and confident for playdates, trips to the zoo, and museum outings with my kids.
In February 2026, I completed my House of Colour training and jumped right into the world of color. I love helping clients discover the colors that make them shine and giving them the tools they need to feel confident and empowered when shopping or getting ready each day.
It’s incredibly rewarding to see someone light up when they see themselves in the right colors. My goal is to help others feel confident, empowered, and colorful!
My House of Colour Journey
When I discovered I was an Autumn, I was honestly a little terrified. I had always felt safe wearing black, white, and gray—with the occasional touch of burgundy—and the idea of stepping outside that comfort zone was intimidating. I went home with the makeup and just one muted lipstick. But after looking at my before-and-after photo with the red lip, I couldn’t stop thinking about how confident I felt wearing it in the studio. Two days later, I called Jordan back and went in to pick it up.
Within a week of learning my colors, I decided that if I was going to step into this world of color, I might as well go all in. I sorted through my closet, boxed up all my non-Autumn pieces, donated them, and went shopping. I didn’t have a huge wardrobe to begin with, but I quickly realized I could create more outfits with fewer pieces because the colors worked so well together. Everything harmonized, and mixing and matching suddenly felt effortless. Getting dressed in the morning became empowering.
Within a month, I went back for more lipstick shades and fully embraced my new season. I never wanted to lose the confidence I had found. ✨

My style personality: Natural Gamine
My favorite Autumn color: hands down, heliotrope
The color I didn’t expect to love: lime green. I love pairing it with grass green for a fun color combination.
My favorite lip color: Ginger shimmer
The color that instantly boosts my mood: Geranium Red. It boosts my mood, my confidence and makes me feel powerful.
My coffee order: usually just black coffee, but every once in a while I love an iced brown sugar, cinnamon latte with oat milk. A real treat!
My favorite vacation: Grand Cayman
My favorite way to recharge: a walk with my family at the end of the day with no phones

Get dressed every day with purpose, ease, and JOY! A color analysis provides you with life-changing information. Using precision-dyed drapes and my extensive training I will prove to you the value of knowing your season; a palette of colors customized to your unique undertones. We apply this information to women, men, and children of all races, ethnicities, and genders. Your season will never change so this is information you can carry with you for a lifetime.
There are three parts to every color session. First is our world-class, scientific draping process that we have refined for excellence and accuracy over the past four decades. Next, I will provide advice on jewellery, watches, glasses, and when applicable: hair and makeup based on your season. Our makeup products will take the guesswork out of choosing colors that highlight your natural beauty. Finally, we'll dive further into your season and choose the best colors for your casual and professional life, discovering your list of WOW colors.
You will leave your appointment with a fan of your seasonal swatches and a brochure full of tips and reminders specific to you that you can reference later to make shopping and wearing your new colors a confident experience!
You should arrive at your analysis free of spray tans and makeup for optimal accuracy. No pictures will be taken without permission, nor are they shared on social media without your consent.
