Color and style analysis transformed my life in ways I never anticipated.
I’ve always loved clothes, shoes, and shopping, but 5 years ago, my appointment gave me the clarity to build a wardrobe filled with pieces I truly loved and felt confident in. Before that, I often found myself with a closet full of clothes but nothing to wear, constantly shopping yet never fully satisfied. This experience was so impactful that I knew I wanted to share it with others, which led me to take the leap and start House of Colour Central North Dakota.
During my pregnancy and journey into motherhood, I truly came to understand the power of our services.
Dressing an ever-changing body can be challenging, and as a tired mom, feeling put together can seem impossible. But knowing how to throw on a wow color, having a 90-second makeup routine, and understanding the best cuts of clothing made getting ready so much easier—both during pregnancy and in those exhausting postpartum days. I realized I deserve to feel just as put together chasing my two kids around our laid-back country home as I do at the most formal events.

Since 2020, I’ve been offering House of Colour’s world-class color and style analysis services in North Dakota.
I started this journey alongside my mom as my associate stylist. We’ve loved working together, helping clients discover their most flattering colors and styles. Over the past four years, I’ve worked with an incredible range of clients—from businesswomen climbing the corporate ladder, to stay-at-home moms who deserve to feel their best every day. I’ve helped men simplify their shopping and worked with children excited for school pictures, as well as teens preparing for prom, senior photos, and their first professional wardrobe.
The transformative power of color and style analysis has grown my business to include three wonderful associate stylists: Camie Readel (Buchanan, ND), Sarah Edland (Fargo, ND), and Charlene Card (Fargo, ND). This job has also provided me with the flexibility to be there for my family, which includes my husband and two kids, something I am ever grateful for.

Located just 30 minutes north of Bismarck along Highway 1804, the drive to my studio offers beautiful views of the Missouri River. The space itself is filled with natural sunlight—essential for accurate color analysis. Adorned with 144 precision-dyed drapes and our seasonally sorted line of luxury makeup, the studio has a bright and airy atmosphere, making it the perfect setting to begin your transformative journey. You’ll feel relaxed, inspired, and ready to discover your best colors and styles. Feel free to come alone for a private appointment, or invite a friend or two—whatever suits you best!

Color Analysis

Get dressed every day with purpose, ease, and JOY! A color analysis provides you with life-changing information. Using precision-dyed drapes and my extensive training I will prove to you the value of knowing your season; a palette of colors customized to your unique undertones. We apply this information to women, men, and children of all races, ethnicities, and genders. Your season will never change so this is information you can carry with you for a lifetime.
There are three parts to every color session. First is our world-class, scientific draping process that we have refined for excellence and accuracy over the past four decades. Next, I will provide advice on jewellery, watches, glasses, and when applicable: hair and makeup based on your season. Our makeup products will take the guesswork out of choosing colors that highlight your natural beauty. Finally, we'll dive further into your season and choose the best colors for your casual and professional life, discovering your list of WOW colors.
You will leave your appointment with a fan of your seasonal swatches and a brochure full of tips and reminders specific to you that you can reference later to make shopping and wearing your new colors a confident experience!
You should arrive at your analysis free of spray tans and makeup for optimal accuracy. No pictures will be taken without permission, nor are they shared on social media without your consent.
The place most people begin because the results are instantaneous and seemingly magical! We’ll find the seasonal color combination that lights you up and adds that little something *extra* to your everyday look! Color analysis is completed in natural light - which is why you only have daytime options to choose from. Group discounts are available.
Style Analysis

Discover the science behind personal style by unlocking the power of you. During a style analysis, I'll teach you how to combine who you are with how you dress so you can step out into the world looking fabulous as your authentic self. We consider your proportions, personality, and preferences to give you a style framework- we call this a “Clothing Personality. You will confidently know which fabrics, prints, patterns, and accessories, necklines, details, and silhouettes flatter your unique body architecture best. Because we factor your personality into this framework, our style analysis goes a step further to help you identify how you feel in different styles and pieces so your clothing not only looks great but also represents who you are.
For this appointment, you’ll bring 5–10 items from your closet that you LOVE and 5–10 that make you wonder why you don’t feel good when putting them on. We'll use this information to help you discover why you gravitated toward and loved certain pieces and what it is about the others that weren't working for you, so you save time and money in the future! At House of Colour, we believe clothing needs to be adjusted to you, not the other way around. It is our goal to make sure you feel your most confident as who you are and how you look right now.
You’ll leave with a book with detailed information specific to you that we'll fill out during the appointment and a Clothing Personality card with keywords that will help guide you when shopping. If you've already had a color analysis, this card can be inserted into your fan which will make shopping easy and efficient!
At your bespoke style appointment we’ll dive into all the things that make you YOU and the clothing goals you have. Then we’ll equip you with the vocabulary you need to describe your unique style and give you the skills to dress with CONFIDENCE! You’ll leave your appointment with all the resources you need to make the clothes in your closet work for you and excitement to go shopping!
Advanced Color Analysis

Advanced Color Analysis is an opportunity revisit your season, refresh your seasonal color knowledge and build upon the foundation of your personal color analysis. It’s something you may want to explore at least three to six months after your initial House of Colour color analysis (I am happy to discuss ideal timing with you).
During this appointment, we'll dive deeper into the specifics of your season and show you color combos, and more makeup options, and provide guidance specific to you.
You will leave your appointment with an Advanced Color guide in your season where we will log all color and make up combinations (we rate them too!) for future reference. You may pair this guide with your fan and color brochure you received at your first color analysis to further customize your look.
Sessions take approximately two to three hours and we will review 40+ color combinations in your season.
Advanced Colour is a follow-up color appointment where we go over color combinations within your season, teach you how to pair different colors in your existing wardrobe, and review additional makeup products that best partner with your favorite looks. If you’re interested in expanding your knowledge on how to use the colors in your season best, Advanced Color is for you!
The first step of this appointment is a personalized introduction to a simple 5-minute makeup routine. I’ll guide you through the essentials, including liquid foundation or BB cream, powder, bronzer, illuminator, and your signature blush. We’ll create a versatile eyeshadow look using four shades and pair them with complementary eyeliners.
We’ll also explore multiple lipstick options tailored to each of your points of red, helping you understand how to pair the perfect lipstick with different color combinations and when to use your best options to make the most impact.
At Your Advanced Colour appointment, we will also:
Dive deeper and give you a refresher on your season and the colors that WOW on you.
Understand your neutrals and how to use them to build a capsule wardrobe.
Identify the color combinations in your season that will make you look and feel your best.
Find the lip colors that work best with your seasonal color combinations.
Discuss your hair goals and which shade options will be your most optimal.
Discover the eye makeup products that partner best with your favorite color combinations.
*You must have completed a color analysis with House of Colour before this class. At this time the appointment must be taken privately.
